This course is designed to train you how to deploy Cisco Firepower Next Generation Firewall. This course will give you hands knowledge and skills to use Cisco Firepower Threat Defence (FTD) technology. It will walk you through from initial device setup, which includes configuring routing, high availability, Cisco ASA to Cisco Firepower migration, Network Address Translation, and traffic control.
You will learn about how to implement advance Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) and Next Generation Intrusion Prevention System (NGIPS) features. This includes network intelligence, file type detection, network-based malware detection and deep packet inspection.

You will learn to configure site-to-site VPN and Remote-Access VPN, SSL decryption before moving on to detailed analysis, system administration and trouble shooting.

    • Configure policies for Access control, intrusion, malware and file, DNS, identity, SSL, prefilter in Firepower Management Center
    • Configure network discovery, application detectors (Open AppID), correlation and actions features using Cisco Firepower Management Center
    • Configure Object Management and intrusion rules
    • Configure NAT, VPN, QoS, other platform settings and certificate using Cisco Firepower Management Center

 

  • Module 3: Management and Troubleshooting

    • Troubleshoot using Firepower Management Center (FMC) CLI and GUI
    • Configure dashboard and reporting in FMC
    • Troubleshoot using packet capture procedure
    • Analyse risk and standard report

 

  • Module 4: Integration

    • Configure Cisco Advance Malware Protection (AMP) for networks and endpoints in FMC
    • Deploy threat intelligence director for third-party security intelligence feeds
    • Describe using cisco threat response for security investigations
